I got a Motoactv 16Gb (software version is MA 1.7.10 N16) and is been impossible to connect with a Garmin Premium Heart Rate Monitor (010-10997-02). I had tried everything from Motoactv factory reset to wet the HRM. Until now nothing work and still waiting to use my Motoactv. From this Forum I had read some comments on great connectivity between motoactv and this HRM. Please help me to resolve this issue.

I'm sorry I can't solve your problem, except to say I purhased a Garmin Premium Heart Rate Monitor strap this past week and it connected to my motoactv with no problem. I've only used it twice and it worked perfectly both times.
You´re sure you´re using the ANT+ protocol? My unit is working easily.
Was the strap recognized by some other units? May the battery is not OK or the strap itself is faulty

I do not have the Garmin Premium but I tried the regualr Garmin ANT+. I could not pair it with Motoactv. The elliptical trainer at my gym recognized it so the strap works. I returned it and got a Motoactv HRM. I cannot get it to recognize it either. I also purchased a Garmin ANT+ foot pod. I won't recognize it either. The Motoactiv has not recognized anything yet other than my Bluetooth headphones.

I tried Instant Chat on Motorola support site. Rep gave me a reference number and disconnected. Didn't know what I was supposed to do. I found that my problem was logged on my profile. Anyway, I fooled around with the device and did a Factory Reset from the Settings menu. Now my Motoactv pairs with everything. No problem. I now have it paired with the Garmin Foot Pad, the Motoactv HRM, and my Bluetooth headphones. I'm ready to rock.
