Hi Sk56,

Thanks for posting. First off, please make sure the app is up to date in Play Store. Just search Moto Camera, see if there's an update. Let me know the current version of your camera. Thanks.

Best regards,

Hi,

I don't know if the app was updated with the new Android 9 or was updated from PlayStore, but I ensure I had the latest version from PlayStore... 7.2.49.15

Additionally to the issue, flashlight is not working and also have the 02400001 error front camera

That's the latest one I have.

Hi tyrantsoft,

Thanks for posting on this thread. May I know what have you tried and done so far?

See if it happens in safe mode.

To Enable Safe Mode
1. Press and hold the Power button until Power off comes up on the screen.
2. Touch and HOLD Power off on the screen until reboot to safe mode appears.
Just turn off and on the phone to boot back to normal mode.

Let me know. Thanks.

Best regards,

Hi Woodville mike,

Thanks for posting on the thread. It shouldn't be caused by the update. Have you tried testing the camera in the Device Help app > Device diagnosis > Hardware Test> Camera?
