ThinkPad E15 Gen 2 random shutdowns suddenly

Hey, Lenovo Community,

I bought a ThinkPad E15 laptop while ago. It is a brand new. I didn't use it often but when I stated work on it I noticed that it reboots absolutly randomly. It doesn't show any errors or log somesing. Anyway I tried reset a system 2 times, did a Diagnistic Lenovo tests. It passed all of them. But I still think it's a hardware issue because I cant catch any software problems.

That problem frustaited me because I love my thinkpad and don't have any ideas what to do. Does Lenovo ThinkPad E15 Gen 2 have any recalls or essues like that from manufactory? Thank you Regards

Welcome to Lenovo Community

I'm sorry to read that your ThinkPad E15 Gen 2 randomly shuts down.
Kindly remove all external peripherals, then go to BIOS and reload the default settings, be sure to save.
Update the BIOS, drivers and firmware (specially Chipset, GPU and Power Management) thru the support site, once done power off the machine for a few minutes.
Turn it on and observe.
Try to monitor the machine in safe mode or clean boot as well.
Update us how it goes.

Thank you for fast response!

I tried to update all drivers and BIOS before but anyway I did it one more time. Checked for new versions, updated. I tried to use laptop in a safe mode. It took some time for test but problem still there. Even in a safe mood.

I would suggest that you reach out to the tech support department.
The machine might require physical inspection and board level testing.
