lenovo system has self-healed by restoring bios from backup

very time my laptop turns on I get an error message" lenovo system has self-healed by restoring bios from backup..."

I ran a complete diagnostics test and all tests passed successfully.

Ran a Lenovo Vantage check, and all system and bios files are up to date.

What needs to be done in order to fix the problem?

Thanks!

Re:lenovo system has self-healed by restoring bios from backup

Hi ofercohen!

The topic was moved to the appropriate board based on the model of the affected device. This would help get more detailed answer, as well as for other member to easily locate related topic which they can provide input or suggestion.

As for the BIOS Self Heal, would there be any changes recently prior to the issue, such as hardware changes / repair / parts replacement, or a major update (firmware / OS Upgrade)? We can test a BIOS reset and check if there would be a different response from the device.

Re:lenovo system has self-healed by restoring bios from backup

Welcome to the Community, urbanic!

Thank you for reaching out. Were you able to try the BIOS reset? If not yet, access BIOS (guide here) then press Fn+F9 and Fn+F10 to reset BIOS.

If it goes to the same screen, press the ESC button and check if the device boots to Windows.

Are you perhaps using a different model? if yes, please share the model type that would look like 81C70000RK or 20UD000BUS from the sticker underneath, Vantage, or by typing sysinfo using Windows search so we can check the exact model and specifications.

Please let us know if you need any more help.

Best regards,
