Lenovo Laptop having issue detecting SIM card

My Lenovo x260 is having issues detecting sim cards.

I have used it without problems for months but all of a sudden, I am experiencing this issue.

It works when I power on the computer after it has been off for some hours, but after using it for about 30 mins to 1 hour, it stops working and just says "insert sim". Then it doesn't work until  the next day when I power on the computer again, then the cycle repeats.

I have changed sim card, reinstalled and updated driver, reinstalled OS, but nothing has worked so far.

Please help.

Re:Lenovo Laptop having issue detecting SIM card

Hello donaldekpe!

Greetings!

It would seem like a loose SIM card slot. I suggest having it checked at the nearest authorized repair center: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/partnerlocator
