No solution for the moment. I guess I will have to return it to LENOVO, it seems to be more a hardware issue.

Let us know if that works for you. My 910 has had this problem ever since a Windows Update in December, so that's what I attributed it to. As I had this problem with a Dell Win 8 laptop, I'm already in the habit of hitting the button before closing the lid. I also use the 910 with an external monitor, mouse and keyboard, so having it continue to work when one of my parrots slaps the lid closed is a bit of a blessing.  If I get some time, I'll try rolling back the computer to November (I save a lot of restore points) to see if that fixes it.

Before you return it, double check the lid options in Power Management and test it in Airplane Mode with nothing connected to any port.

Re: Yoga 910 - Lid close sleep issue

I tried this, I mean close the lid in "airplan" mode but it change nothing.

In the energy setup, I setup like this "Shoot down" to see if the sensor works and nothing happend (no shoot down and the screen is still turn on) , so not sure it's a software issue but, In fact, I don't know how to test the "lid sensor".

The lid sensor is 1 or more magnetic reed switches along the top of the lid. There are magnets on either side of the touchpad right at the edges.I would think running a magnet or two along the top edge of the display would fool the lid sensors. If there are two, you'd have to trigger both of them. Thing is, that test doesn't narrow the problem down beyond lid alignment.

Re: Yoga 910 - Lid close sleep issue

Open a command prompt as an administrator.

Or, Windows-X and choose Powershell (admin)

At the C:/windows (or whatever comes up) promt enter:

powercfg -requests

That'll give you a list of devices along with whether or not they are prohibiting the computer from going to sleep. For me, the RealTek HD Audio driver assumes audio is playing (even though none is). All the other devices show "none" next to them.

If none of the listed devices show any results, then a faulty reed switch or its connection to the mobo might be a suspect.

Re: Yoga 910 - Lid close sleep issue

So I deactivate the drivers and cmd indicate that nothing is running, but unfortunately this has not fixed the issue.
So I'm going to sent my yoga to be repair :(

Re: Yoga 910 - Lid close sleep issue

I downloaded the new Realtek drivers and now nothing is running when I run powercfg -requests. I reviewed the sleep and power settings but the laptop does not sleep when the lid is closed.
